Corey Meles
Registered Behavior Technician
Corey Meles is a Registered Behavior Technician for Ability Learning Center. Growing up in a theatre family, Corey performed as a young child and began directing and producing children’s theatre productions at the age of 15. Corey studied Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education at St. Petersburg Junior College and the University of Florida. During her college years she worked at La Petite Academy and as a live-in nanny for two young children. For over 15 years, Corey helped manage and run her in-law’s wholesale business, traveling across the USA and several foreign countries, attending trade shows and visiting the factories where their goods were produced. Corey was an Educational and Artistic Director at St. Pete City Theatre for many years and currently directs groups at the City of Largo and Safety Harbor Art and Music Center. She decided to further pursue her passion for helping children and pursued her career as a Registered Behavior Technician. Corey has been married for 18 years and lives in Clearwater with her husband and their four-legged child Murphy, a yellow Lab.
